Ceserani is a joint venture with Anton B. Dougall M.O.M., a pioneer in the field of catering and renowned restaurateur and media personality in Malta. Ceserani Catering Institute, aims at helping people aged 14 years and upwards to enter the food industry, learn skills and engage in personal development activities. In this regard, the Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Malta through which together with the Ministry of Education, a collaboration is developed which enhances the development of students and young people aged between 14 and 25 years old. Those participating in the programme will have the possibility to learn about food manufacturing and the catering industries as well as other areas of vocational and applied learning.
Ceserani also provides food handling training and certification for our staff and third parties. Such education has been accredited, making it the only one of its kind to attain accreditation locally. Ceserani will soon be offering training and certification for the Skills Card which is required by those working in Malta’s tourism sector in order to be eligible for a work permit and visa. It validates their skills and competencies in areas such as customer care, hospitality, and English proficiency.
