The Group’s expertise in the catering industry spans diverse segments, from servicing elderly care homes and correctional facilities to providing meals for hospital in-patients and in-flight passengers. Through strategic partnerships and independent ventures, the Group has established itself as a leading provider, delivering over 17,500 meals daily across various institutions.
Each employee in our catering line whether a chef, packer, cleaner, driver, machine operator, maintenance specialist or supporting staff, is required to have a valid food handling licence. All food handlers participate in an extensive training programme provided by the Ceserani Catering Institute, licensed by the National Commission for Further and Higher Education Malta. This course along with our training programme ensures that the food handler is highly capable to safely provide the quality of service that we set as our standard.
The Group’s manufacturing sector is pivotal in supporting its diverse business portfolio through The Food Factory. This facility produces high-quality foods that cater to various sectors including catering, healthcare, hospitality and retail. With a focus on innovation and quality, the Group’s manufacturing operations ensure consistency and reliability, underpinning the success of their other business endeavours.
Our Kore Group venture, a joint endeavour with the db Group stands as a pillar of support for communities in Malta and Gozo. We deliver catering services to Malta’s primary hospital and various nursing homes, as well as providing them with thousands of nurses and carers who are trained in our two education centres. We also provide help to around 7,700 clients with respite services, and domiciliary nursing and caring services. Through tailored care plans and staffing solutions, we aim to elevate healthcare standards and ensure holistic support for individuals across different care settings.
The Group manages multiple restaurants and cafeterias across Malta, each boasting its unique identity. Great care is taken to ensure every meal is a delightful experience for anyone who walks through their doors, providing patrons with great ambience and quality food.
