At this year’s Malta Food Management Industry Awards 2025 held at the Hilton Malta on Friday 11th April, James Caterers was awarded Best Food Manufacturer of the Year and Food Industry Champion Award, two prestigious awards which consolidate the company with the elite in food manufacturing.

James Caterers Limited and its CPU, The Food Factory, has attained BRC Food Safety Certification V.9 for the Production (washing, portioning, mixing of vegetable and animal ingredients, cooking, cooling, filling and packaging, freezing, sheathing) of frozen read to eat/heat vegetable, meat and fish meals in microwaveable plastic trays with plastic film. Production (dosing, mixing of ingredients, baking, freezing, packaging) of ready-to-eat frozen sweet bakery products (muffins) packed in paper cup in plastic bag (bulk) within cardboard boxes.

James Caterers Limited and its CPU, The Food Factory, has attained FSSC 22000 certification for the production of ready to eat/heat meals packaged in plastic lidded microwavable PET and PP containers, salads in plastic lidded PP containers, ready to eat sandwiches, wraps, and other filled breads served on food grade paper and shrink wrapped. Production of pre-baked breads, pies, biscuits, cakes, custom cakes and printed custom sugar paste cakes, dry ambient bakery products and pasta and frozen filled pasta, cook and chill ready to heat meals including meat, fish, dairy, vegetable products. Production of fruit salads and puree food and production and packing of ice creams and sorbets, ice cream filled fruits, frozen ready to eat gateaux, single and multi-portions, desserts. Production of frozen single packaged ready to heat meals and ready to eat finger food items.
