James Bakes and Cakes and Chiaro Trattoria – Waiters

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Waiters / Waitresses to join our dynamic team.  As a member of our front-of-house staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy their time at establishments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and seating guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Presenting menus and providing detailed information on dishes and beverages
• Taking accurate food and drink orders
• Serving food and beverages promptly and professionally
• Checking on guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and taking action to correct any issues
• Processing payments and issuing receipts
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area and dining space
• Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff for seamless service
• Following all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Waiter / Waitress or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service orientation and a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Basic math skills for handling payments
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Skills pass
