Since the tender age of 16 the founder of the Group has always dreamt that one day he will grow his business into one which could make a difference in people’s lives.  Today his interests span a wide portfolio of businesses which employ more than 2000 people and provide services and products to hundreds of thousands of customers every year.  The dream of a young sixteen year old has materialised in a large business organisation which deeply understands its roots, is firmly planted in the present and has its eyes focused on the future.

 

The Group knows its beginnings almost 30 years ago, starting as a small one-man business and growing to become a main player in food manufacturing and healthcare services.  From its very small beginnings as a confectionery the Group today operates in different sectors including manufacturing, retail, trading, outside catering, research & development, inflight catering, healthcare catering, institutional management and healthcare services. 

 

Over the years the group has continuously invested to improve both its infrastructure and its product offering and today it has reached a level which allows it to compete for international business.  Quality plays a very important part in what it does and the Company abides by strict industry regulations and international certification standards.

 

The Company continues to invest and plan its growth by involving itself in expansion projects and aims at continuing to increase both its product offering as well as services within the food manufacturing and catering industry.  It is only through continuous growth and development that the Company will manage to achieve its ambitious goals and objectives.

A Strong Value Chain

The Group has always been forward looking and understands that all the different components of its value chain need to be aligned and completely integrated in order to continue with its growth and expansion programme.

Research & Development

The group is developing its R&D capabilities through the development of an R&D facility and Production Laboratory. These will continue developing the product and services portfolio of the Group as well as offer the same service to our clients.

Broad Portfolio

We currently provide a broad portfolio of products and services. This portfolio will continue to be expanded with new products and services across all the businesses within the Group. In addition, through our R&D and manufacturing functions we are in a unique position to offer clients the possibility to develop their own products using their own brand and scaling up as orders start coming in.

Strong Manufacturing

The Group has been investing heavily in its manufactoring capability. The Group has launched its new food production facility with the name of The Food Factory® in Q4 of 2017. This is a 21 million Euro investment and the building is spread over 21,000sqm, incorporating different food production operations together with an academy and R&D.

Sales & Distribution

We have a targeted sales team focusing on different channels in which we operate. Our channels cover the web, retail, wholesale and international with both own brand and private label products.
